Introducing Your Sister’s Closet

Your Sister’s Closet is a newly established non-profit organization created by local professional women to assist women who are entering/re-entering the workforce. YSC is dedicated to providing resources that assist women in their search for employment opportunities.

Our desire is to help relieve some of the burdens associated with this transition for our fellow women, and we do this by providing free business attire to those in need. It is our hope in the near future to provide additional support in the form of resume preparation and job search programs; helping women in our community to secure gainful employment.

YSC has collected items of all sizes over the last few months and will have our first Distribution / “Shopping Day” on Sunday, October 25th. It is our hope to help as many woman in our community as possible.

Please join us for YOUR SISTER’S CLOSET Inaugural “SHOPPING DAY”

Sunday, October 25th 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The Cooper House
(at the Socastee Swing Bridge)
6011 Dick Pond Road • Myrtle Beach, SC 29588

YSC is happy to provide a helping hand to the women in our area who are entering the work place for the first time or after an absence from a job. Women who have been stay at home moms or housewives sometimes find themselves in a situation where they must seek employment, whether it is because of a divorce, death or unemployment of a spouse, or finances require it for a myriad of reasons. Obtaining attire appropriate for the work environment is often very expensive and difficult. That is why YSC offers help. We look forward to seeing everyone on October 25th!

I do this often. Usually as an inside label... a few months ago, a bride had lost both parents. I used her mom's jewelry as embellishments on her gown. And a patch from her dad's jacket stitched inside.. but from. His work jacket, i created 2 teddy bears, .. 1 for bride, 1 as a surprise for her brother ..

What a sweet idea-

So sweet
